Specialcolor is the world-wide distribution organisation for ICISS ® = Interactive Color-Independent Separation Software and CoCo ®, the ultimate selective Color Correction plug-in for Adobe Photoshop ®.
Background
The principal of Specialcolor was apprenticed in special color separation for packaging and decorative work in 1968. After managing prepress at a sheet and web printer, he joined Hell prepress systems, managed Unda Postscript systems, 3M Color Workstations, Kodak Electronic Printing Systems, and set up Colour Management Services, trading as Specialcolor, in 1990. Here is a picture exhibiting any color process in 1994 (see poster “DIYHiFi”).

The software is developed by Aurelon in The Netherlands. Specialcolor in Nottingham, has handled sales and implementation for ICISS and CoCo since 1994.
Specialcolor agents are industry professionals. Agents are capable of implementing ICISS-CoCo to the point where you never need their help again, though someone in the world is available for any question any hour of the day.
Manufacturers have integrated ICISS technology into their systems and others bundle ICISS with equipment. Most of our sales are direct of course, enabling customers to make the most of their own ideas.
